Shraddha More is a designer, artist, and researcher whose socially engaged practice seeks to disrupt societal structures, and knowledge hierarchies, by advocating for collective approaches. Within her work, she delves into socio-political themes of social justice. Her research interests focus on understanding the driving forces behind certain human behaviours within oppressive systems, utilising storytelling and play as methods to translate human values into tangible forms. This critical thinking is fundamental to her understanding of how society is changing and the role she, plays in influencing it. Her practice encompasses speculative thinking and social design, with the aim to provoke, challenge, and change perspectives. Shraddha is an Inlaks scholar for an MA in Design program from Goldsmiths, University of London, 2023 and she pursued her BFA in Painting from Sir J.J. School of Art, Mumbai, 2019.
